Gas prices in Europe declined as weather conditions softened and deliveries increased.

Seasonal conditions and liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries are driving gas prices down in Europe.

Dutch futures, which are indicative of natural gas prices in Europe, were traded at 98 euros, with a decrease of more than 1 percent on the first trading day of the week.

The rapid rise of LNG deliveries, especially in Europe, had an impact on the market. LNG deliveries reached record levels in April. In addition, the continuation of Russian gas flow through Ukraine was a factor that relieved the markets.
