Ukraine announced that the grain storage facilities were not damaged in the attack on the Odesa port, and the shipments are continuing.
While Ukraine continues its grain export activities within the scope of the agreement signed to reduce the global food shortage, Ukraine warned that if Russia’s Odesa attack continues, the shipment will be damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as “barbaric” and stated that Moscow could not be trusted regarding the agreement. At the same time, officials noted that Russian missiles did not damage grain storage areas and that grain shipment efforts continue.
“We are continuing our technical preparations to start exporting agricultural products from our ports,” Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said on his Facebook account.
