Markets are closed in many countries for the Easter holiday.

While markets were closed in many countries due to the Easter holiday, Asian markets tried to find direction with the interest rate decision from China.

U.S. bonds fell on Thursday after New York Fed President John Williams also made a statement in favor of a 50 basis point rate hike.

Oil is poised to record its fastest weekly gain this month as the European Union plans to impose a gradual ban on energy imports from Russia.

U.S. crude oil rose 2.6 percent to 106.95, while Brent rose 2.7 percent to 111.7 dollars.
